The roof over the whole length turns the bunk bed into a house – 217 cm to the ridge. Up top a retreat for bedtime stories and dreaming, below everything stays open. The roof is decoration, not a load-bearing part.

Frequently asked questions about KOSMO Long Bunk Bed
From what age can my child sleep on top?
We recommend the top bed from about 6 years – once your child uses the ladder safely on their own. Younger ones sleep below: the sleeping surface is only 22 cm above the floor.
Which mattress fits?
The bed size is the mattress size, for example 90 × 200 cm. For the top bed we recommend a mattress 8–12 cm high so the guard rail stays high enough. You'll find matching ones under Mattresses – 20% off when bought with the bed.
Can the ladder go on either side?
Yes – the ladder is fitted right or left, depending on the room.
Is there a drawer for it?
Yes, optional under the lower bed, in the colour of the bed: one large drawer for storage (+€53), two small drawers (+€53) or a drawer with sleep function (+€76) – a third bed for sleepover guests. For the sleep function choose a mattress 10 cm shorter than the bed and no more than 10 cm high.
How high is the bed?
217 cm to the ridge. There are 80 cm between the sleeping surfaces.
What is the bed made of?
First-grade pine. The load-bearing parts are finger-jointed – that makes them stronger and they don't warp. All edges are rounded and sanded.
Why does Retro look different on the photos?
Retro is a stain that leaves the grain visible. In daylight it looks darker, in the evening warmer – and every piece of pine takes the colour a little differently. That makes every bed one of a kind.

KOSMO Long Bunk Bed – bunk bed with house roof in pine
A shared children’s room needs practical solutions. The KOSMO Long bunk bed creates two sleeping places on the footprint of one – and leaves the floor free for playing. The roof over the whole length turns it into a house with two floors.
The lower bed is 22 cm above the floor – even younger siblings climb in and out alone. On top the 30 cm rail protects, the ladder with flat rungs fits left or right, and there are 80 cm between the sleeping surfaces. All edges are rounded and sanded.
Under the lower bed there is room for a drawer (optional): as large storage, as two small drawers or with sleep function – a third bed for sleepover guests. KOSMO looks light: slim posts, profiled slats, five colours from untreated pine to retro.

The price includes the bed with a wooden slatted base. The mattress is available separately – you can add it directly when ordering. You will find our mattresses under Children’s Mattresses.
Most models are available in 5 colours: Natural, Clear lacquer, White, Grey and Retro. Sizes range from 80×160 to 120×200 cm – depending on the model. You can see all the options in the configurator above.
All beds are made of FSC-certified pine wood and finished with non-toxic water-based paints compliant with EN 71-3. The construction supports up to 190 kg. The safety rail can be fitted on either side and removed at any time. You get a 5-year warranty.
