More room on the same floor space
The bed goes up – the space stays down.
Under the sleeping surface 111 cm stay free: enough for a child's desk, shelves for books and games, a toy chest or a den made of blankets. A play corner today, a study spot in a few years – without buying a new bed.
- 111 cm of free space under the bed
- Universal ladder, right or left
- Profiled slats with softly rounded edges
The roof makes the difference
A little house up in the air.
The roof over the whole length turns the loft bed into a house. With fairy lights or a garland the top bed becomes the favourite spot – for bedtime stories and for retreating after a long day. The roof carries nothing, it is pure decoration – and that is exactly the point.
- Overall height 217 cm, sleeping surface at 111 cm
- Guard rail 30 cm all round
- Pine, water-based paints to EN 71-3

Frequently asked questions about KOSMO Long Loft Bed
What age is a loft bed suitable for?
We recommend loft beds from about 6 years – once your child uses the ladder safely on their own.
Which mattress fits?
The bed size is the mattress size, for example 90 × 200 cm. For the top bed we recommend a mattress 8–12 cm high so the guard rail stays high enough. You'll find matching ones under Mattresses – 20% off when bought with the bed.
Can the ladder go on either side?
Yes – the ladder is fitted right or left, depending on the room.
How much room is there under the bed?
111 cm in height, and with the 80 × 160 cm size around 170 × 87 cm of floor space – enough for a child's desk, a chest of drawers or a play corner.
What is the bed made of?
First-grade pine. The load-bearing parts are finger-jointed – that makes them stronger and they don't warp. All edges are rounded and sanded.
Why does Retro look different on the photos?
Retro is a stain that leaves the grain visible. In daylight it looks darker, in the evening warmer – and every piece of pine takes the colour a little differently. That makes every bed one of a kind.
Description
KOSMO Long Loft Bed – loft bed with house roof in pine
A child’s room has to be many things at once: a place to sleep, to play, to learn. The KOSMO Long loft bed moves sleeping upstairs – under a roof that turns the bed into a little house – and leaves 111 cm underneath for playing, learning and storage.
Up top your child sleeps safely: the 30 cm guard rail runs all round, the ladder with flat rungs gives small feet a good hold and fits left or right. All edges are rounded and sanded.
KOSMO looks light: slim posts, profiled slats, clean lines. The bed suits Scandinavian rooms as much as classic ones – for girls and boys, as a first loft bed and for many years after.
