What age is the bed suitable for?
As soon as your child climbs out of the cot – usually at 1½ to 2 years. The safety rail keeps them safely in bed at night.
Does a standard mattress fit?
Yes. The bed size is the mattress size, for example 120 × 200 cm. You'll find a matching one under Mattresses – 15% off when bought with the bed.
Can I lie down to read a bedtime story?
Yes – the frame takes up to 190 kg.
Which mattress fits the drawer with sleep function?

NIKO with drawer is a solid, attractive single bed for children, made entirely of natural pine. Thanks to the frame raised by 20 cm, the bed gains a whole new dimension of practicality – an optional drawer fits underneath for bedding, toys, or even as an extra sleeping place for a second child. This model combines Scandinavian style, the durability of wood and clever solutions for modern family homes.
🏠 Everyday function and comfort
The NIKO bed was designed for maximum comfort for your child and convenience for parents. The 20 cm leg height leaves room under the bed for one large or two smaller drawers for bedding, toys or clothes.
For extra flexibility, a drawer with guest bed function is also available – the perfect solution when siblings share a room or little guests often stay over. In just a few moments the single bed turns into a practical double bed, without taking up any extra space in the room.
The raised frame allows better air circulation around the mattress and makes cleaning under the bed easier – especially important in children’s rooms.

The price includes the bed with a wooden slatted base. The mattress is available separately – you can add it directly when ordering. You will find our mattresses under Children’s Mattresses.

All beds are made of FSC-certified pine wood and finished with non-toxic water-based paints compliant with EN 71-3. The construction supports up to 190 kg. The safety rail can be fitted on either side and removed at any time. You get a 2-year warranty.
